Active members of the Georgia CORE GOG Consortium: Mercer/Memorial University and the Medical College of Georgia exceeded 2009 enrollment projections by 21%. Thanks to their accrual efforts, the Georgia CORE GOG Consortium reached the targeted mid-year accrual points and was awarded full member status. However, there is still a lot of work ahead. In order to maintain full membership, Don Gallup, MD, Principal Investigator will work with the Emory/Winship Cancer Institute, Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence/Grady Health System and John B. Amos Cancer Center to enroll patients before the year end.
