About the Research Network
Georgia CORE has established a cancer research network which unites academic and community-based scientists, clinicians, educators, public health practitioners, survivors and advocates. Those dedicated to cancer research share in the quest to create more effective cancer treatments, identify methods to prevent and control cancer and extend the successes of advanced medicine and clinical research across the state to all Georgians, especially those disproportionately affected by cancer. Georgia CORE advances scientific opportunities, quality initiatives and new discoveries through the multi-disciplinary network which crosses institutional lines. More than 55 percent of Georgia’s oncologists are affiliated with the research network which provides education about and access to Investigator-Initiated cooperative group and industry sponsored trials.
For more information on how you can be a part of the Georgia CORE Research Network, please contact Nancy Paris at nparis@georgiacore.org or 404-588-4083.
