Breast Cancer Working Group
Physicians from across the state gather to discuss current breast cancer protocols, best practices for trial accrual and potential Investigator-Initiated studies. Participants generally include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists and general surgeons.

Lung Cancer Working Group
The purpose of the Lung Cancer Working Group is offer easy access to state-of-the-art comprehensive care, using education, prevention, and cutting edge clinical research to expand the treatment options for all lung cancer patients. The Lung Cancer Working Group consists of a multidisciplinary group, including academia and community practices, thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, biostatisticians, and epidemiologists.

Prostate and GU Cancer Working Group
Vasily Assikis, MD, Piedmont Hospital, Peachtree Hematology Oncology Consultants and Omer Kucuk, MD, Winship Cancer Institute are co-chairs of the Prostate and GU Cancer Working Group. The purpose of the Working Group is to develop protocol concepts for Investigator-Initiated studies that benefit patients state-wide, prioritize available prostate and GU cancer trials, discuss case presentations and expand access to prostate and GU cancer trials. Participants of the Working Group include radiation oncologists, urologists, medical oncologists, industry sponsors and research professionals.
